Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith, which everyone is welcome to attend. Each week involves good food, a talk and then chatting with others who have come, with opportunities to ask questions and share your point of view. Alpha is run all over the world, and you can find out more about it here

A previous Alpha attendee at St Peter's told us: "I was a bit apprehensive about coming and wasn't sure what I would get out of it. But I had questions that I'd always wanted to ask, so thought I would give it a go, though I was in two minds.

It was brilliant - revolutionary actually! I made some lovely friends, which I didn't expect, and I learnt so much. Talking about the Bible helped me to understand God more and I felt closer to this person called Jesus.

I'm not a religious person at all, but now I really look forward to going to our weekly group to dive into the words and explore the Bible."

St Peter’s have a seven week Alpha course running this term, starting at 7.30pm on Wednesday 3rd October, in our new building at 23 Plough Road, SW11 2DE. Please get in touch if you’d like to come or bring a friend.
